The James McArthur Griffin collection : Notebooks and materia medica 1916-1924.

Class notes in student notebooks, drawings, laboratory manuals and exams dated from 1916-1920. Notes were taken at University of Southern Mississippi and the Tulane School of Medicine of the Tulane University of Louisiana. Materia medica includes a cotton Esmarch bandage, Haemacytometer, sphygmomanometer and a cotton surgical gown. A published text by Edward Seufert, Vade mecum, 1924 is included.
